Imagine being only three minutes walk from sinking your toes into the golden sands of one of the South Coast's finest beaches, and only a 15 min drive to the world-famous white sands of Jervis Bay. Where you can swim, surf, boogie board or just float under blue skies in water as crystal clear as a mountain stream. This classic beach house is beautifully furnished and is perfect for 2 couples or a small family to enjoy the stunning golden sands of pet-friendly Culburra Beach.
Inside you can kick back on the couch under the air conditioning, enjoy Netflix on the big screen TV and upload your holiday snaps with the free Wifi. Relax with a cold drink on the fully fenced courtyard with deck whilst you listen to some tunes on the portable Bluetooth speaker. When it's time for dinner you can whip up a meal in the kitchen or enjoy the cooling sea breeze as you sizzle some steaks on the back deck. Grab a chair and a drink then watch the sunset turn to the most magnificent display of the Milky Way you’ve ever seen.
When it's time to hit the hay you'll find a double bed in the first bedroom as well as a comfortable tri-bunk in the second bedroom. Air conditioning for summer and heating for winter will give you the perfect night's sleep. But you’ll already know from our exclusive guidebook that there are so many things to see and do in the Culburra; Jervis Bay area – from where to shop and where to dine out to in-the-know local knowledge of the area’s “hidden secrets” that you’ll want to jump out of bed and explore! But before you head out for the day be sure to enjoy a lazy holiday breakfast and a cappuccino on the deck.

Excellent location
Karen Grey - 22nd February 2022Fantastic little place to stay, so clean and is exactly as in photos. It really is 150 metres to the beach which was perfect for our fur friend. Contactless check in and out so easy and Professional Holiday Homes were great in keeping us advised and the online guide to the property and surrounds was excellent. Will definitely book again.

Jane Howard - 18th November 2021Loved the Sun Shack! This little home was well appointed and very clean. Only a 2 minute walk to the Dog friendly beach. While we didn't have the weather it was just nice to be away and relax. Dog got lots of walks and he loved chasing the surf. Nice BBQ area out the back if you get the weather!

Had a great couple nights stay here. Literally a few minutes walk to the beach. A small, neat and tidy home that is exactly what you see in the pictures. Also really appreciated it being pet friendly and the quick responses from the hosts.
Excellent little place to stay very clean and perfect location loved this place for me and doggo perfect lil amount of lawn in secure garden. Front yard works made it tricky to access entry in rain though

This place is really nice and located in a calm and quiet neighbourhood. The beach is only a minute walk. We had a lovely and relaxing time at Sun Shack.
We loved the Sun Shack. Excellent location in a quiet street and a very quick stroll to the beach. Also very well set up for accompanying pets with a secure backyard area. The living space felt a little bit small with five of us, but it has everything you could need, and the ping pong area in the garage is fantastic. Also plenty of room for volleyball on the front lawn. The host is a real estate agent rather than an individual, and there was a little bit of confusion because the information on Airbnb didn't completely match other information we received from the host, but we were able to contact the host by phone to clarify and they were responsive and helpful. All in all a fabulous place to get away to for a couple of days.
We had a great time. The space was just what we needed (2 adults and a child). The location was perfect, we couldn’t believe just how close to the water it was. Would definitely go back again!

Garage parking and short walk to the beach were definite positives, despite our rainy stay.
The Sunshack is small and cute but everything we and our dog needed. The outside shower is so handy after you get back from the dog beach, which is a block away. It's walking distance to cafes and restaurants but note that hardly any are open the first half of the week out of the holidays. The kitchen is perfectly fine for cooking simple meals but if I came back off-season I'd probably bring a few favourite utensils.
