Giving Back 

Professional Holiday Homes are proud to be a supporter of local charities within the communities in
which we operate.

$5.50 from every booking is collected then donated to charities at the end of each financial year.

In the financial year ending 2022 we donated a total of $13,943.29 as follows:

• Jim Da Silva Farm: $12,579.65
• Shoalhaven Marine Recue: $1,363.64

Jim da Silva Farm Nowra is a joint venture of the St Vincent de Paul Society and the NSW Department
of Housing providing medium to long term accommodation for men experiencing homelessness who
are dealing with ongoing drug and alcohol issues, mental illness, emotional disturbances and/or mild
developmental delay.

The peaceful rural setting allows the residents breathing space and time to address their often complex
and hugely challenging situations. The Jim da Silva Farm is more like a home offering a safe, secure and
stable community where shattered lives are rebuilt.

Marine Rescue Shoalhaven is a Unit of Marine Rescue NSW, the only recognised volunteer Marine
Rescue organisation in NSW. They monitor Marine Distress frequencies 24 hours a day and coordinate
Marine Search and Rescue operations.

By donating to Marine Rescue NSW, we have helped to support their emergency operations and to
ensure their volunteers are equipped with world-class rescue vessels and equipment, such as online
radio dispatch systems, automatic defibrillators and electronic navigation aids.

We hope to raise over $40k for local charities in 2024.
