Escape to classic beach-house charm in beautiful Jervis Bay — just a 5-minute stroll to Callala Beach. Sunny, breezy living spaces and a generous covered rear patio make this an easy, relaxed spot for mornings with coffee or slow evenings around the BBQ. The house backs onto a bushland reserve, so you’ll enjoy birdlife, a private leafy outlook and a real sense of calm.
Pets are welcome — bring your dogs and let them enjoy the enclosed yard and nearby beach walks.
Inside, an L-shaped lounge and dining layout centres on comfort and simple living: ceiling fans keep things cool in summer and a gas heater adds warmth in winter. The living room features a brand-new LG 55-inch Cinema Series OLED smart TV with apps for Netflix, Stan and Amazon Prime. The well-equipped kitchen includes a microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher, and there’s an owner’s pantry of basic items you’re welcome to use (please replace if you empty anything).
The bathroom has been recently renovated and features a jetted spa bath with a large window opening onto the backyard — perfect for a soak with a book and a glass of wine. Practical extras include a laundry with washing machine, dryer and an extra toilet, outdoor seating for six under the large covered patio, an outdoor shower and gas BBQ, a trampoline for the kids, along with a swing and off-street parking for three cars. The home sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms.
Linen is not provided. This property is Bring your own Linen.
Important Information:
- From mid-October, linen and towels will be supplied at all properties at no additional charge. If you previously arranged linen hire for a BYO property, you will no longer need to — it is now included in your booking.
- A small amount from every booking is donated to local charities — a booking with Professional Holiday Homes supports local communities.
- Please note that we supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. You may wish to bring additional supplies with you.
- Please note that firewood is only supplied from May to September.
- Whilst the majority of properties provide access to streaming services, guests may be required to log in via their own accounts.
- Internet in regional areas can be inconsistent and uninterrupted supply is not guaranteed. We will not provide compensation for failure or unexpected unavailability of internet services.
- Fencing: The property is fenced on rear, front garden is unfenced.
- We welcome responsible guests that will not cause disturbance to our neighbours.
- For our pet friendly properties, pets are welcome inside but not on furniture or beds.
- After booking you must sign a rental agreement. Please contact us prior to booking if you'd like to view a copy.
- No schoolies, parties, bucks or hens groups are permitted.

Great location
Maria B - 3rd April 2024We enjoyed our stay at Happy House. Excellent location close to the beach. Nice and peaceful backyard facing the bush. On the positive side the house is good size with plenty of light and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed (old fashion though) and the bathroom seems recently renovated. I might suggest to be more specific about linen items. No tea towels and very limited toilet paper! l Respectfully to the owners the art on the walls is very unusual for a beach house.

A Home Away from Home
Ana-Maria D - 18th July 2023We have stayed here many times and love the feel of the home. My children are so fond of the place - they love playing in the backyard and hanging around on the deck. It has everything you need and it is close enough to all the things you want to do whatever the season.
