Professional Holiday Homes (PHH) began its journey in 2009 when Craig Reid, the CEO and founder, established Hayes Beach House. This property quickly gained recognition in the tourism industry, becoming a finalist in the South Coast Tourism Awards by 2011. In 2014, Hayes Beach House won the Stayz Award for Best Pet Friendly NSW and secured a Silver in the South Coast Tourism Awards.
Building on this success, Craig Reid established Sunbaker Beach House in 2016, with both properties becoming finalists in the South Coast Tourism Awards that year. Hayes Beach House made history as the first holiday home to be a finalist in the prestigious NSW Tourism Awards.
In June 2017, leveraging the success of these properties, PHH was officially founded as Profitable Holiday Homes, marking the beginning of its expansion into Airbnb management. The company continued to grow, establishing a team in the Philippines in 2018 and rebranding as Professional Holiday Homes in 2019.
Despite the challenges posed by the NSW bushfires and COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, PHH signed its 50th property, became a licensed real estate agency, and established its Australian team and office in Culburra. This period also marked a significant transition from a Philippines-based setup to an Australian-based operation, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing high-quality, locally-driven service. The company also launched a laundry service and transitioned to HomHero and Trust Accounting software.
By 2021, PHH had signed its 100th property, and in 2022, the company introduced new roles for Business Development and Operations Managers, signed its 150th property, and launched a full linen service. In 2023, PHH reached another milestone by signing its 200th property. Today, PHH manages properties across NSW, including in Sydney, providing top-tier Airbnb management services.
In 2024, Professional Holiday Homes expanded further into the Sydney market, marking a significant step in the company’s growth. This expansion allows PHH to bring its award-winning Airbnb management services to a broader range of property owners, offering unparalleled support and expertise in one of Australia’s most competitive real estate markets.
