Looking for the perfect getaway for you and your other half? Look no further than The Dairy, with its unparalleled views, private outdoor area and cosy bedroom for two nestled up in the mountains. This converted dairy is the ideal choice for a couple looking to take a holiday in complete isolation, far away from busy highways with no neighbours except the cows.
Every morning you can make a cuppa in the modern kitchen with kangaroos hopping past through the field, and sit outside in the fresh air gazing at the trees, rolling hills and green mountains in the near distance. You can stretch your legs by wandering the 175-acre property or take a short stroll to Kangaroo Valley Pie Shop for a snack.
In the evenings you’ll be cosy inside with the spacious rain-head shower and combustion fireplace with a plentiful supply of chopped logs and kindling, and you can cook a romantic meal on the induction cooktop or the bbq outside. There are dozens of DVDs to choose from to cosy up on the couch and watch on the TV, or you can light a candle and put on some music to spend some quality time just enjoying the view.
The township of Kangaroo Valley is just a few minutes drive away with quaint shops, a candy store and a friendly pub to while away the hours. You’ll spend your leisurely days in each other’s company at The Dairy, happily disconnected from the outside world, enjoying all the beauty of nature with the luxuries of modern comforts.

The views and wildlife make this a magical place to stay. So peaceful but still within close distance to the village, we loved our stay!
We absolutely loved staying at the Dairy - everything from the clean fresh tank water to the cheeky pair of goats in the paddock behind the house. It is a gorgeous, comfortable, cosy cottage, with a wonderful view. If you want to really unwind and relax, this is definitely the spot.

We had a lovely stay. Met the owner Adrian who is just so friendly and kind. We also had the pleasure of meeting Gracie and Poppy who joined us on the lovely outdoor area they were the best guests as they new when to come and go! The cottage is ideal and the surrounding area is perfect for a getaway and it was so close to Moss Vale, Berrima and down south to Jarvis Bay all easy drives. Cannot wait to come back. Amazing views, nice interiors.
Both inside and outdoor are so nice! Great amenities, large collections of DVDs for a rainy day, and a bunch of kangaroos jumping just outside of your window. What else do you need? This wonderful little house overlooking the whole valley with some of the best sunrises. Great amenities, living area, and bathroom. However, if you're used to larger beds you might find yourself a bit squished with their double bed.
Lovely space with beautiful view over the valley. Comfortable stay with good amenities. We enjoyed saying hello to the 2 goats and the cows and even saw a couple of kangaroos jump by one evening.

Just wow. Everything we expected and more. Total seclusion yet 3 minutes in the car to the local high street which is awesome with great little shops. Most comfy bed ever. Loved the goats and the cows. The servo was a lifesaver for snacks but it closes early so make sure you’re organised. Was a great location for a weekend away from Sydney and was a special place to come home to after day trips in the kangaroo valley.
Beautiful location! Very lush and green landscape. Entrance was a bit tricky to find, but the agent was helpful.
So happy to have found this little gem which is only 2 hours away from Sydney. The place is clean and amenities are new and good quality. The building has great character with a great marriage of new and old. Love the view and the friendly goats!!! We wished we could stay a little longer. 2 nights are just not enough. Don't forget to head to The General Cafe for great coffee, scones and black rice porridge!
