With its sea-green walls and fully fenced garden for maximum privacy, this newly renovated, pet friendly home will have you feeling as if you’ve been transported into a hidden getaway conjured out of the ocean air just for you and your favourite people.
Sandy Feet Retreat is ideally suited to provide flexible accommodation for three couples or two families.
From sunrise to sunset, Sandy Feet Retreat will provide you with everything you need to enjoy your stay in the beautiful coastal town of Currarong. Wake up to the sound of waves crashing on the beach and make yourself a Nespresso to enjoy on the deck until your first swim of the day. When the urge strikes, you can grab a towel and be on the beach in one minute flat to sink your toes into the stunning sands of Currarong Beach. After swimming in the sparkling waves and exploring the rock formations, rinse off the sand and sit back as you choose how you want to spend the rest of the day in one of the most beautiful places in the country.
Rest in comfort and enjoy some quality time by stretching out on the couch to watch a movie, or take a board game to the outdoor dining table for a battle of wits in the fresh air. In colder months, close the doors and cuddle up with a cuppa in the living room. At mealtimes, have fun cooking together on the BBQ and enjoy lunch in the shade of the pergola. For the days when no one feels like cooking, the owners recommend fresh seafood from Zac’s Place, with a wine tasting in the evening at Salet Wines just an incredibly short walk away. No need for designated drivers on this trip!
When you fancy some sightseeing, hop in the car to check out Honeymoon Bay and Point Perpendicular Lighthouse, or just pop your shoes on to traverse the many natural sights of Currarong, like Abrahams Bosom Reserve and Gosangs Tunnel. There’s so much to see and do in this beautiful coastal vista, and however you choose to enjoy it, you’ll have the time of your life at Nest, making memories to last a lifetime.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Bedroom 3 is a Tri Bunk (1 x Double below and 1 x Single on top)
- We supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. You may wish to bring additional supplies with you.
- Internet in regional areas can be inconsistent and uninterrupted supply is not guaranteed. We will not provide compensation for failure or unexpected unavailability of internet services.
- Whilst the majority of properties provide access to streaming services, guests may be required to log in via their own accounts.
- A small amount from every booking is donated to local charities — a booking with Professional Holiday Homes supports local communities.
- A card surcharge is levied on each payment. It's important to note that since this fee is associated with the bank, it won't be reimbursed in the event of cancellation.
- Please note that firewood is only supplied from May to September.
- Fencing: The property is fully fenced
- Air conditioning: The property has air conditioning in the main living/kitchen area.
- We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property (it does not record speech) and allows us to respond to noise issues. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask.
- We welcome responsible guests that will not cause disturbance to our neighbours.
- For our pet friendly properties, pets are welcome inside but not on furniture or beds (please bring a blanket).

Amazing accommodation

Very clean and welcoming. The yard was a great spot to catch the sun and enjoy the BBQ. We will definitely visit again as we all totally relaxed in this amazing property.

Perfect for couples and puppy
William T - 4th March 2023This is a delightful short stay home in an idyllic village to get away from it all. Comfortably appointed. Bright. Lovely back garden, great for a small dog/puppy. 1 min from the beach. The village is quiet, very quiet, which is exactly what we’re after.

BEAUTIFUL HOME WITH EVERYTHING!
Linda P - 18th February 2023This home is just beautiful. Light & airy, lots of windows to open, a big double back door which lets the breeze in. All the beds were made already. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. The one rainy day we watched a movie with the Netflix, and walk just a few doors for a cooked lunch, and sat at the big table together inside. The shop also has a small amount of groceries, including milk. Walk on down to the beach, no driving, no sand in the car! We didn't need the air con.

Happy at Sandy Feet retreat

It is super comfortable and was so easy with a four year old, being close to the beaches etc. Our only gripe was that we didn't have the right coffee pods for the provided machine and this lead to a bit of running around to sort out coffee making facilities (very important for some serious coffee drinkers who needed their morning dose even before Zac's was open).
South Coast Gem

Large kitchen and island were ideal for cooking meals while we stayed there and our dog absolutely loved the backyard. Fantastic location next to Zac’s Place and close beaches, walking tracks and lookouts as well as being just a few minutes drive from the National Park entrance.
